Facilities

Blaauwklippen Aquatics is situated on a family farm in Stellenbosch.  It is a child-friendly, safe and secure smallholding and offers lots of parking space. The accessibility of the swimming school from Stellenbosch, Somerset West and numerous schools in and around the area offers convenience in terms of after school lessons and time scheduling for the whole family.

Our centre has a heated, indoor pool that was specifically designed for teaching water safety and swimming for infants, toddlers and older children.

The pool is 12 x 6 meters and 1.2m in depth (2m in the deep end). It has a spacious ‘play’ step for toddlers and children to play and build their confidence.  The big step is beneficial and promotes self-reliant behaviour in shallow water.

We have separate changing rooms for Moms and Dads.  The changing rooms are comfortably spacious with changing tables, basins, toilets, heaters and hairdryers to make sure everyone is dry and warm before leaving the pool house.

Security codes for the main entrance gate are changed frequently to only allow the current swimmers access to the swimming school.
